Everything we do is driven by a deep love for nature and a passion for connecting people with the natural world. Over the years, our work has been recognised with awards that reflect our commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and social impact. These achievements are not just personal milestones; they are a testament to the power of nature to bring people together, transform spaces, and improve lives.
In 2022, together with a team of fabulous volunteers we renovated the patient gardens at Colwyn Bay Community Hospital and were honoured to receive a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) national Wales in Bloom level 4 ‘thriving’, It’s Your Neighbourhood (the top being level 5 ‘outstanding’). We were was advised that this is a very impressive achievement for a first time entry!
Being awarded a Fellowship with the Lloyds Bank School for Social Entrepreneurs was a significant moment in our journey.
This prestigious programme supported our vision for creating meaningful social change through nature-based projects. It reinforced our commitment to making the natural world accessible to all—whether through therapeutic gardening, wildlife education, or intergenerational projects that bring people of all ages together.
We were honoured to receive a Silver Gilt Award at the 2017 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Llandudno in Bloom Awards for our work in transforming an unloved, neglected community space into a thriving, flourishing garden. This project was more than just about planting flowers, it was about creating a welcoming, accessible green space where people could come together, connect with nature, and experience its benefits first-hand. The award recognises not only the beauty of the space we created but also the positive impact it had on the local community.
Every recognition we receive strengthens our resolve to continue using nature as a tool for education, wellbeing, and social connection. These awards are not just accolades; they are proof that our approach is making a real difference.
