Nature isn’t just something we look at, it’s something we are part of. Every tree, every bird, every flower plays a role in the delicate balance of life on earth, and when we take the time to truly see and understand it, we gain a deeper appreciation for the world we live in. Here at The King’s Garden, our mission is to inspire, educate, and reconnect people with nature, helping them to experience its beauty, its wisdom and its power to heal.
We believe that when we forge a real connection with the natural world, we begin to understand ourselves better too. We start to see how everything is interwoven; how the health of our environment impacts our own wellbeing, how the way we treat animals reflects our values, and how simple acts, like planting a garden or listening to birdsong, can bring joy, peace, and even a sense of purpose.
That’s why integrity is at the heart of everything we do.
Our work is built on the belief that everyone, no matter their age, ability, or background, should have the chance to experience the wonders of the natural world. We are committed to creating opportunities for people to engage with wildlife, understand sustainable living, and feel the therapeutic benefits of nature, all while ensuring that these experiences are ethical, meaningful, and accessible to all.
Our Board is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we support.
The Kings Garden was founded in 2016 by a group of community members working with local Care Homes and supporting people living with Dementia . Since then, we have grown into a thriving non-profit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
We are proud to partner with a variety of organisations to provide the best possible support to our clients.
